Dog Chewing
5 Ways to stop your dog from chewing everything in sight!

It can be annoying to constantly find items around your house that have been chewed to bits by your pet dog and it can even prove to be quite a costly problem as your dog destroys more and more items. But how can you stop this? Here are 5 easy tips to keep in mind when working with dogs of different breeds, say a doberman and trying to stop your canine friend from chewing everything.
1. Make sure nothing medical is wrong: This should be the most important factor as there could be something medically wrong with your pooch that is causing your dog to chew everything it sees. Always take your dog to your vet, explain the situation and hope that nothing is wrong
2. Proof your house: Puppy's love to chew up items they find loose so if you don't want them to chew up certain items then make sure they aren't in reach of your puppy. A dog sitter should place things like shows and clothes off the floor so they can't get to them and place plenty of doggy chew toys around for them instead.
3. Make them chew what you want them to chew: You can't stop a puppy or dog from chewing completely, so you should provide them with chew toys and other bones that will help them chew items specifically made for them to chew. If you can keep their mind occupied by these items while dog sitting then you should not face a problem with other items.
4. Don't let them chew other items: If you catch them chewing something you don't want them to then promptly growl at them and give them something else to chew. Dog sitters should always try and catch them in the act however. As this way of working with dogs, you can truly allow the pets to know what they are doing wrong.
5. Play with your dog: To stop them from chewing random items around the house why don't you seek energetic dog sitters to actually engage in play time with your pooch so that they can chew items when the pet sitter is around? Grab their doggy toy, play tug of war with them and have fun!
To make your dog stay healthy, it is essential to proactively take on the pet care tasks. Pet for kids, such as doberman often start chewing when left alone. Some animal care activities opt for pet jobs where they can work with animals which are social and help them from staying away from their chewing habit.
